The Colorado Triathlon Series is a 3-race series made up of the Colorado Sprint (not the Colorado Olympic), the Boulder Peak Triathlon, and the Harvest Moon Triathlon. Three distances will help determine the best overall Colorado Triathlon in each age-group! Get ready for an action packed summer with a series award posted shortly after the final Harvest Moon finale! Awards will go 3-deep in each age-group and an elite division (you must be registered for the elite division in 2/3 races to be eligible for this category)
HOW ARE POINTS AWARDED
The scoring is simple. Points are awarded and accumulated for two out of the three series events as follows:
10 points for winning one's age group, 8 points for second, 6 points for third, then 5-4-3-2-1 (for 4th-8th).
BONUS BOULDER PEAK POINTS
In addition, 2 bonus points are added to the age group winners at the Boulder Peak Triathlon.
HOW MANY RACES COUNT?
Competitors must have raced in at least two races in the Series to be eligible, and your top 2 out of 3 races count towards your series standings. If there is a tie, the higher placing athlete at the Harvest Moon Long Course will earn the tie breaker!
